"This is a bad idea." Juliet said for what seemed like the hundred'th time.
"Juliet..." replied Ralph, for the hundred'th time.
"Sorry, sorry."
The hill, Primrose hill, stood several hundred feet over the ground. On top of it, one could see a mansion in bad shape. The hill was fairly easy to climb, but quite a hike. There wasn't much on it, a few trees, and maybe a sheep or two.
Four teenagers made their way up the hill. Their names were Ralph, Jordan, Sylvia and Juliet. The one in
the lead was a boy, Ralph, followed by his sister Juliet and their two friends, Jordan and Sylvia. They walked
up the hill as they closed in on the mansion. Mud caked Ralph's sneakers as he walked on.
"Are you sure about this guys?" asked Juliet.
"Pfff... It's just an abandoned old mansion," answered Jordan.
Sylvia, followed at quite some distance behind the others. She was too young to be brave, she thought. She
was muttering with her jaw clenched "I hate this, I hate this bet. Nothing good can come of it."
The bet in question was issued by Jordan, and was to spend the night in a old, supposedly "haunted"
mansion. The first to leave the mansion had to pay 5 pounds. Ralph never turned down a bet.
He finally saw the entrace to the mansion, and signalled to the others to follow him. An old fashioned gate
lead to the garden of the mansion. They passed through the open gate.
"Are you abso-" started Juliet. But she paused. Strange lights were shining from the windows in the attic of
the mansion. But they were not normal lights. They were blue.
"Do you guys see that?" asked Sylvia.
Jordan nodded, and he looked at the others, a panicked look on his face.
"Is this such a good idea after all?"
"This house is uninhabited. How can there be lights? Let alone blue."
Suddenly, the gate they had just entered suddenly closed behind them. They all jumped at the noise.
Ralph spun around. "What the..." All went cold and silent.
Juliet opened her mouth to speak.
"Just the wind," said Ralph without letting her talk.
"But..."
"The wind." he said firmly.
"Let's just get in." interrupted Jordan.
They all entered the mansion, and went to what seemed to be the dining room. It was orned with ancient
tapestries, depicting pharaohs being crowned, several portraits of knights from the Middle Ages. The walls
were dirty, ripped and the wallpaper was peeling off of them. A battered Candelabra hung off the ceiling,
ready to fall at any moment. A long dining table was in the middle of the room, covered with candles and
unfinished meals and cutlery, all dirty and covered in cobwebs. They all took their bags off their backs, and
removed ther individual sleeping bags from them.
Juliet went up to Ralph and whispered:
"Look Ralph... We all know what we saw, we should just leave."
"I know your worried. If anything else happens, we can leave."
Juliet nodded reluctantly. She then scoured the mansion with her eyes. It was better than she had imagined,
considering it had been abandoned for decades. The tables and chairs were made of Mahogany, and the
curtains of bright red silk. Suddenly, something attracted Sylvia's attention. A big painting in a golden frame
was on the top of a long staircase, and the frame itself was a portrait of a man. He had a long white beard, and
a pointy grey hat. What an old dude, she thought before returning to the others.
She went to her cousin Jordan, who was looking up the stairs. She was thinking
about the lights they had seen... Ralph was paying attention to the dining table. Old wine bottles, glasses and
plates were littered on it, either broken or covered in cobwebs.
"This binge's been abandoned for years..." he muttered. Juliet came up to him.
"What about Mum and Dad? You told them we were going camping in a safe wood. Not a creepy,
disgusting mansion".
Ralph had been forced to take Juliet or she would tell them of his
plans. Sisters! But oh well, it was only a night in this place, not too bad. They quietly slipped into their
pyjamas, for it was nearing midnight and they were all tired from they're hike.
Ralph fell asleep almost immediately.
Jordan, on the other hand, was unable to sleep. He tossed around in bed, thinking of what he had seen. "What ever could it be", he wondered.
Jordan finally got up, fed up. He checked his Ipod: 11 P.M.
"Those lights were interesting..." he muttered to himself. The lights earlier had definetly aroused his curiosity. He fitted
slippers on his feet and grabbed his torch which he had brought with him. He carefully made his
way up the stairs to the attic, making sure not to making sure not to make the staircase creak. He paused to catch his breath at the top of the stairs. He had a slight headache and his vision was blurry. "How the hell did I even get here?" he thought. He shrugged this off and entered the room.
As he entered he saw a bunch of antiques, candleabras, paintings. In one corner, a big grandfather clock stood. It was stuck at 3 AM. But one thing caught his
attention. A vase, surprisingly mundane, lay in the middle of the room. but it was glowing the same blue light
they had seen earlier. He took a step forward, and he heard a crack. He looked down and lifted his foot. He had walken on a bone. Jordan gave it a quick glance and recognized it as a human bone. As Jordan made his way towards the vase, fearlessly, but not paying attention to anything but
the object, he clumsily slipped, knocked down a chair, Which made a big bang. In half a minute the others, who had
heard Jordan go up, rushed into the room to find Jordan there. His hands were nearing on the vase.
"NO!" shouted Sylvia, making Jordan start.
Jordan knocked the vase over and it fell to the ground. As it fell, Ralph heard a roar loud enough to break a
window, the breaking of glass, and then all went black.
As Ralph came to, he slowly opened his eyes. He saw white blobs on a blue backround above him. As his eyes came to
focus, he realised this was the sky. The sky?
Throbbing pain was everywhere on his body. He lifted his arm. Dried blood coated his arm, it had come out of
several cuts made by the glass that had broken on to him. He dropped his hand on to the floor. Dust flew
under his arm as he brought it down, making him cough. A soft feeling was under him. He turned to see the
ground. Sand.
"Where am I?" he wondered as he tried to get to his feet. He tried to hold himself on one foot, then another.
He could indeed stand up. He could also hear loud noises, like waves. He looked around himself.
To his right, there was the sea, blue and glistening in the sun. To his left, a forest comprised of thick green trees.
He then saw his friends on the floor. He kneeled down next to Sylvia, who seemed to have taken the
worse of the glass then anyone else. A Rivulet of blood trickled down her temple. He shook her till she opened her eyes.
Sylvia groaned out of pain.
"Wh...What happened?"
"Dunno."
"We're...we're on a beach!"
"I suppose we are. Shall we wake the others?" Ralph realised he was relaxed and smiling. He quickly adjusted this. Why was he smiling? They had just somehow arrived on an uknown beach. Nothing to smile about.
"I s'pose."
Ralph went to wake up Jordan, and Sylvia to Juliet. Jordan had a gash on his leg, and thus a limp. Juliet had several
cuts on her arms.
"Where.. where are we? We were in the mansion... How?" whispered Juliet, who was still half asleep.
"I think none of us know. We should probably look around." suggested Jordan.
"Why not? Towards the forest?"
They all agreed to go to the forest next to the beach.
"Juliet..." replied Ralph, for the hundred'th time.

Spoiler :
"¿Estás abso-" comenzó a Juliet.
"Vamos a entrar" interrumpió Jordan.
Juliet asintió a regañadientes.

"¡NO!"
"¿Qu ... ¿Qué pasó?"
"No sé".
"Supongo".
